About this course

This short course gives care professionals a working understanding of common mental health conditions, the social and clinical factors that shape them, stigma and its effects, recovery-focused and trauma-informed practice, and the legal framework including the Mental Health Act 1983 as amended and its interface with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
